Welcome to the website of the Armbrustschützenzelt, or, in English, the “tent of the crossbowmen”. In 1985, the guild of crossbowmen “Winzerer Fähndl”, who had built a tent for the hospitality of the shooters and visitors, laid the groundwork for today’s Armbrustschützenzelt, which has been operated by our family since 1990. In 1935, the German crossbow championship began taking place during Oktoberfest. This tradition still takes place in the adjacent shooting range where the champion of Germany is determined each year.
