Did you know that back in 1892, the first liter of beer was served in a glass stein? Since people from Munich tend to stick to tradition, it wasn’t until 1970 that these steins finally disappeared from the “Wiesn”. Take a piece of history with you: The tent host’s “wiesn” beer stein can’t be missed. You can purchase one as just a beer stein or one with a tin lid. Along with the beer steins from this year, we also have additional ones from the past years for the collectors out there.
